About this Class

Bordeaux. Burgundy. Champagne. France is home to some of the most famous wine regions on earth, but wine is part of everyday life, too. In this class, we'll learn about the vast diversity of wine traditions in France, and taste our way around the country with bubbles, whites, rosés, and reds, learning about the dynamic history of France and its rich wine culture. This class is the first in a series of European Wine Tour classes being offered at BARN. Join our fantastic journey!

  • Ages 21 and up are welcome.
  • Please consider eating dinner or a snack prior to class.
  • A $20 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, covers all that's needed for the class.
  • Registration closes May 29.
  • Wear closed-toes shoes to class.

Students will learn the history of wine in France, the most important wine styles and regions, how French wines are made, the role wine plays in French culture, and how to best appreciate wine while visiting France.
