Books that are sewn are flexible and strong. There are many ways to sew folded pages (signatures, sections) into a book. In this one day workshop, you will explore several techniques from the humble single section to more complex multiple section bindings.

Instructor Bio:
Carolina Veenstra is a bookbinder and artist. She has worked as a book conservator for forty years. When she isn't working in her studio, you will find her hiking in the Olympic Mountains or weeding the trails in her neighborhood.
