**This workshop will be conducted via live streaming with Zoom.**

This is an intermediate class. Attendees should have their own soldering stations at home.

Master Craftswoman Ronda Coryell will guide students with tricks and tips for the Argentium Silver project. Each project has been selected to build skills in working with Argentium: a 3-Band ring, a toggle clasp bracelet, and a decorated band with a bezel set stone.


  1. Friday, June 11Make a 3 Band Stacking Ring 
    9am - 11:30am - Ronda starts us out on our day with a demo of the first project, a 3-band stacking ring. From 11:30 - 3:30 students work independently with recorded demo available for reference. 3:30 - 5:00 Daily wrap-up and screen share. Student show and tell - if students have video-ed themselves (or can livestream their soldering station) for screen share, or have questions from practice sessions this is the time to share with the class.

  2. Saturday, June 12: Make a Toggle Clasp 
    9am - 11:30am - Show and Tell for the 3-Band stacking ring. Q & A. Ronda sets out the next project of a Toggle clasp with fused granules. Students will be able to use the chain they made in pre-class practice to complete this project. 11:30 - 3:30 students work independently with recorded demo available for reference. 3:30 - 5:00 Daily wrap-up and screen share.

  3. Sunday, June 13: Decorated Band with Bezel Set Stone 
    9am - 11:30am - Show and Tell, Video and photo share by students. Q & A. Ronda sets out the next project of a Decorated Band with Bezel set stone: 11:30 - 3:30 students work independently with recorded demo available for reference. 3:30 - 5:00 Daily wrap-up and Final class screen share.

    Argentium Solder:

    • One piece of 1-inch X 2-inch Medium solder

Ronda Coryell, a certified Master Bench Jeweler and Master Goldsmith, is one of the world’s leading authorities on jewelry making with Argentium silver. She has won multiple design awards for her jewelry designs and traveled the world teaching jewelry skills.
