Woodworking Tool-Safety Refresher

Feeling a bit rusty on how to use Woodworking Studio tools safely? Sign up for a refresher class where you and a few other students will be able to get a review, ask questions and do some practice cuts on scrap wood.

To take this class, you must have already taken Woodshop Tool Safety Checkout 1 and Woodshop Tool Safety Checkout 2.  If you haven't taken these classes, you will be able to sign up when we resume offering them in May.

Details:

• Ages 14+ are welcome.
• This class is free but you must register, and you must have already taken the tool safety classes.
• BARN is practicing safety measures for the health and well-being of all participants, in accordance with state and CDC guidelines. Everyone is required to wear masks, wash or sanitize hands frequently, maintain a distance of 6 feet between individuals, and stay home if they are sick. Overall BARN safety policies are here. • Wear closed-toe shoes, avoid loose-fitting clothing and dangling jewelry, and tie back long hair. Bring your own safety glasses if possible.
