For those who have taken our Sashiko Essentials (or equivalant) and learned the essentials of Hitomezashi Sashiko … now it’s time to reflect a little of the modern era in your stitching. In this class, you will learn how to add needle weaving to your sashiko stitching to make intricate woven patterns on top of and through your original stitches, transforming them into an entirely new modern sashiko expression. These woven patterns are stunning enhancements to any sashiko project. Take your sashiko skills to the next level by adding this modern technique to your repertoire!
