Explore this staple of bead weaving ~ peyote stitch! Great for beginners ~ satisfying for everyone!  In session one, basics of beading ~ setting up a space, tools needed and best practices for beaders ~ will be reviewed. Participants will learn the pattern of this basic stitch and use it to create a number of beads while in class. Students will reinforce and gain comfort with this pattern by creating more beads during the week before the finishing class. Session two of exploring peyote stitch will begin with sharing personal successes and trials experienced and also exploring a number of jewelry designs possible with these beads.  Beaders will finish a beautiful pair of earrings with their new found skills.

Kits will include everything needed to make 10 – 12 beaded beads and supplies for one pair of earrings. Please verify your mailing address when you register.

Students will need to supply scissors and round nose pliers.
