Printmaking: Monitored Open Studio

Beginning print makers should either have taken or be currently enrolled in an introductory level class, and be able to work with existing skills. The monitor is there to provide guidance and help with occasional problem-solving. Maximum of 10 people.


  • Prerequisite: some introductory-level printmaking experience. If you are at a level where you need more attention than general guidance, please enroll in  a class or workshop. To view additional classes, click here.
  • This open studio is free to members. Non-Members pay a $20 drop in fee. Non-Members, please bring cash or check made out to BARN OR register and complete payment online.
  • Open studio users are expected to know where studio tools, supplies, and equipment is kept, to respect the standards and policies posted for studio use, to be considerate of others, and to leave the studio neat and clean when finished.     
  • A variety of print paper is available for purchase in the print studio. Please bring cash or check made out to BARN to make purchases.
  • Feel free to bring a meal or snacks. Food is allowed in the common area adjacent to the studio classroom, and there is a kitchen in which to store and reheat.
