High school students are invited to create and hang out at BARN on Teen Nights. Come enjoy free food and drink. Play games in the BARN Commons. Explore a Studio project and learn new skills. Bring friends. Meet new friends.
You don't want to miss our December Teen Night - holiday edition! In addition to the projects in our studios, we'll have a fun holiday party in the Great Room with cookie decorating, snowflake making and seasonal tunes! If you're in the mood, wear your favorite winter hat!
Tea Light Candleholders in the Woodshop
Make a trio of candle holders in the Woodshop to keep or to gift! First you'll cut tree limbs on the bandsaw, then you'll drill a hole the perfect size for a tea light candle. You can add your own personal touch with holiday decorations before you take them home.
Get suited up to make sparks fly in our welding studio! You will get to use your own creativity to make a design to cut out of metal. Knit a hat
Learn to knit or use skills you already have to start a simple stocking hat with super chunky yarn that you can finish at home! More experienced knitters can learn cable stitches.
Flower Vine Ornaments
Create a flower form by folding, cutting and layering a variety of decorative papers. String the forms together with embroidery floss and add some bling. A vine can hold one flower or many. They make great decorations to hang from trees or wherever a bright splash is wanted. Printed Ornament Garland
Carve and print your own designs and come out with a garland of colorful ornament shapes!
Cookie decorating & Hot cocoa
When you're not working on a project in one of our studios, chill out in our BARN Great Room with cookie decorating, a hot cocoa bar and paper snowflake making!
No pre-registration is required, although all students will need to sign in upon arrival.
The remaining dates for 2019-2020 are January 10, February 14, March 13, April 17, and May 8.
