Printmaking: Monitored Open Studio

Please register if you are planning to come so that we know to provide a monitor.  Registration will be closed the Thursday before the open studio, at 11 pm, to allow monitors to plan.  Beginning printmakers should either have taken or be currently enrolled in an introductory level class, and be able to work with existing skills.  The monitor is there to provide guidance and help with occasional problem-solving. Maximum of 10 people.


  • Prerequisite: some introductory-level printmaking experience. If you are at a level where you need more attention than general guidance, please enroll in  a class or workshop. To view additional classes, click here.
  • Registration is required for this open studio in order for us to know to provide a monitor.Registration will be closed on the Thursday before the open studio, at 11 pm, to allow monitors to plan.  This open studio is free to members. Non-Members, $20.  
  • Open studio users are expected to know where studio tools, supplies, and equipment is kept, to respect the standards and policies posted for studio use, to be considerate of others, and to leave the studio neat and clean when finished.     
  • A variety of print paper is available for purchase in the print studio.
  • Feel free to bring a meal or snacks. Food is allowed in the common area adjacent to the studio classroom, and there is a kitchen in which to store and reheat.
