I have been traveling the world with my family for the last 18 years. My husband is a UN Diplomat with the World Food Program. Through his work, we have had a taste of many cultures.  
We have lived in China, Zambia, Nepal, North Korea & Tanzania.  In Beijing, I worked at the Courtyard Restaurant on the steps of the Forbidden City. In Lusaka, I had a gourmet ice cream business. In Pyongyang, I ran a weekly tapas bar for UN staff. In Kathmandu, I trained local staff on western menus and in Dar es Salaam, I taught cooking classes to elementary students.

 I am a graduate of the Cordon Bleu and a proud mom of  3  (Zoey 14, Emma 12 &  Carter 12)



Our monthly community meetings are free and open to all. Come at 7 pm to participate in a mini demo and a tasting. These evenings are a great opportunity to bring in a new friend to BARN.
